GetJar, the independent mobile app store, has struck a deal with Virgin Mobile France, to provide the French carrier's new mobile app store to launch on Wednesday with its entire selection of free applications, some 45,000 in total. The deal is the second for Getjar this month. Earlier in June, it announced a similar outsourcing deal for Sony Ericsson's upcoming app store. The 4-year old San-Mateo, California-headquartered company, which counts Accel Partners as one of its backers, also supplies Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Ireland and 3UK with apps.
